Tile and Grout Cleaning & Sealing
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Our technician will make note of all challenging areas, set your expectations and come up with a solution for each area.
Step 2: Area Preparation
We will prepare the areas surrounding the tile, making sure not to disturb any carpeting or hardwood floors. At this point, furniture that we will be cleaning under is moved.
Step 3: Dry Soil Removal
As in any cleaning process, dry soil removal is one of the most important steps. Our technicians thoroughly sweep or vacuum the entire area, maximizing the results we obtain.
Step 4: Soil Suspension
We only use the highest quality products. A scientifically advanced tile cleaning agent is applied over the entire surface of your tile so that the grout and the face of the tile are both deep cleaned.
Step 5: Cleaning/Rinsing
Complex and difficult areas may be agitated manually with a brush. Challenging high traffic areas may require use of a mechanical rotating brush. The entire floor is then cleaned using a state-of-the-art self-contained pressure cleaning system known as the SX-12 floor cleaning tool. A rinsing solution is pumped through the machine during cleaning and sanitizing. This solution balances the pH of your floor and prepares it for the sealer. The cleaning process does not guarantee uniformity of grout line color or complete removal of permanent stains.
Step 6: Sealing/Finishing
The type of sealer and application varies by surface type (if grout is in need of colorizing, this is when color sealing is applied). Some stains on sanded and un-sanded grout are permanent. In this case, color sealing (for sanded grout) or re-grouting (for un-sanded grout) is recommended. Note: Color sealing is the only process guaranteed to restore grout to “like new” condition.
Step 7: Post-Inspection
Technicians will perform a walk-through of the areas and go over the results with you before leaving.
Color Sealing
With the Color Sealing Process, our technicians can transform aged floors for customers who want their floors to look new again. We offer a wide range of color choices to complement any type of tile or design. This process is a great solution for solving various installation problems as well as offering a great option for those looking to change the appearance of their floors.
