Hardwood Floor Restoration

Pre-Inspection

This is when we determine if a floor contains any wax, oily residue, or other contaminant which may affect adhesion of a new finish. We also find out if a recoating system can restore your floor, or if a more aggressive method is needed.

Dry Soil Removal

The technician will thoroughly vacuum the floor before starting because dry soil removal is a crucial step in the wood cleaning process.

Furniture Moving

Furniture is moved carefully in all areas that work will be performed in.

Cleaning

The cleaning process is completed with a high-speed buffing machine. Its purpose is not only to deep clean but also to abrade the surface of the old finish. After abrading the surface, we tack the floor with damp cotton towels.

Recoating

In the recoating step, the latest generation of polyurethane technology is applied. This product is specially formulated for heavy traffic on commercial and residential hardwood floors. It provides unmatched durability among floor finishes. It is VOC compliant and non-flammable, making it the most advanced wood floor finish in the industry.

Drying

After recoating the floor, we high-speed dry it with high velocity air movers.

Post-Inspection

The technician will do a final walk-through with you to make sure the results are outstanding.

Sanding

In some cases, a floor may require sanding (full blown restoration). If this step is required, it will be discussed at the inspection and supplemented for the cleaning step. We use a dust-free process to restore wood floors with worn surfaces and scratches.
